It took quite a few shots to get this!
We put the timer on and tried to synchronise jumping, smiling, and not blinking at the same time.
We laughed a lot.
All weekend.
Mums on tour, save one. She ticked off her 1,455 reason why she had chosen not to be, as we reminisced about the earlier days with kids and current tales of tweens and teens.
It was so good to get away, to BE ourselves a wonderful creative nudge and resilience bolster for us all.
At one point whilst sitting on the beach, we noticed an inflatable flamingo escapee, a Random Dialogues drama emerged!

We thought it was fun, and went to bed laughing. You probably needed to be there, or not!
The pooh pebble in the image below was a homage to the dog who dumped in front of us whilst we ate our prawns. Lin and Jen gallantly galloped after the owner to let them know.
We’ve got our next date in the diary, always good to have things to look forward to, how about you?
