Cycling The River Wandle Trail

Highly recommend this, if you are looking for a short, flat and nature full South London cycling idea.

I wondered what the River Wandle trail would be like, as I’d never heard of it, have you?

Nanny Gill knew.

We didn’t cycle from the start in Croydon nor quite end at Wandsworth.

Our first short pedal was from Streatham to Merton Abbey Mills for breakfast.

Then a nose at a noisy Morden Park Hall.

Followed by a soothing meander alongside the scenic river for a milkshake at Beddington Park.

In total, we traveled about 12km before heading home from platform 1 at Hackbridge station to Mitcham Eastfields, because the train didn’t stop at Streatham Hill.

Nanny now sleeping.

Where’s your next mini adventure?
